How often to wash
Wash every 5–8 wears, or sooner if there's visible product build-up. Washing too often is the single most common way people shorten the lifespan of their extensions.
How to wash
- Brush the wefts gently before washing to remove any tangles — never wash extensions while tangled.
- Hold the wefts by the clips under lukewarm running water, letting water flow downward through the hair.
- Apply a sulfate-free shampoo, working it gently through the lengths — avoid scrubbing at the clip/weft attachment.
- Follow with a nourishing conditioner from mid-length to ends, skipping the very top near the wefts.
- Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water — never wring or twist.

Drying and storage
Air dry whenever possible, laid flat or hung by the clips — never dry extensions while they're bunched or tangled. Once fully dry, store them clipped onto a hanger or laid flat in their original packaging, away from direct sunlight, so the wefts keep their shape between wears.
Brushing
Use a loop brush or a wide-tooth comb, and always start at the ends, working your way up to the roots in small sections. Brushing from the root down drags tangles into a knot instead of working them out.
Heat styling
